Education 0bjective:The undergraduate program in English Language and Literature is aimed at producing interdisciplinary students proficient in English,with a general knowledge of English language,literature and culture,and capable of doing basic research in the areas of linguistics,literature and inter-cultural communication.Upon successful completion of the program,students will be able to:demonstrate good moral character,broad knowledge in humanities and professional ethics,develop a sound grounding of English language in listening,speaking,reading,writing and translation,build up a good understanding of English literature,English linguistics and the history,society,culture,politics and economy of the most popular English-speaking countries,master knowledge of Geosciences and international business,develop global mindset,cultural competence,sophisticated analytical thinking skills and information processing capacities,do translating,interpreting,teaching,management and research work in the fields of international trade,foreign affairs,education,culture,geosciences,and so on.
Graduation Requirements
