专业名称与代码:自然地理与资源环境 070502

专业培养目标:培养满足社会发展需求的德、智、体全面发展的高素质人才;培养具有全面的地学基础,掌握自然地理学、资源环境经济学及“3S”技术的基本理论、知识和技能的高级专门人才;培养具有较强的创新意识和科学素养,具备在科研机构、高等学校独立进行科学研究的基本能力的科研人才;培养能够在企事业单位和规划管理部门从事国土资源的调查、规划与制图,从事区域资源环境的动态监测、规划与管理,从事地理空间信息采集与地理信息系统开发应用的专业人才。

专业毕业要求

1.本专业学生具有扎实的数理化、外语、地球科学基础和计算机技能;掌握一门外语,具备听、说、读、写及对外交流的能力,达到能独立获取信息的水平;具有计算机软、硬件的基础知识,掌握一门以上计算机语言的编程技术;具有一定的人文科学和管理科学的知识及能力。

2.能熟练将计算机文字、图形、数据等进行处理并应用于自然地理与资源环境学、区域规划、地理科学。

3.掌握地理科学及资源环境与城乡规划科学的理论、知识和技能,具备进行资源、环境、规划及管理领域的基础理论研究、应用研究、分析实验和数据处理等工作的基本能力。

毕业要求及实现途径

主干学科:现代自然地理学、环境与资源地理分析、遥感与地理信息系统、人文地理学等。

核心课程:地理信息系统、地貌学原理、普通地质学、遥感概论、经济地理学、景观地貌与规划、区域分析与规划学等。

主要专业实验:资源与环境分析评价实验、遥感应用技术实验、地理信息系统技术实验、城市与区域规划计算机模拟实验等。

主要实践性教学环节:包括室内与野外教学实习、毕业生产实习、毕业论文撰写等,一般安排27.5周。

修业年限:四年。

授予学位:理学学士。

Education 0bjective:This program aims to train high-level professionals with good command of the basic theory and practice in management and planning of resources and environment in rural and urban area.Our graduates will be competent with their mastery of“3S”technology and are innovative with high science literacy.Therefore for our graduates,our program guarantees a foundation for further studies in institutions of geosciences or institutions of higher learning and it also provides a route to employment in a wide range of geologically-related industries such as sectors in investigation and cartography of country resources,monitor and management and planning of the resources and environment in urban area(region and river basin),regional sustainable development,collection and management of spatial information,exploitation and application of GIS and other relevant domains.

Graduation Requirements

1.To master the basic theories of mathematics,physics,chemistry,earth sciences and computer techniques,to master a foreign language with proficiency in terms of listening,speaking,reading and writing to ensure a fluent communication,to master at least one advanced computer language,to be cultivated in liberal arts and management.

2.To master data processing by computers and its applications to resources environment and the management of urban and rural planning,geology,geography science.

3.To master fundamental theories and practices in resources environment and management of urban and rural planning to be able to handle the issues concerning the resources,environment,planning and management.

Graduation Requirements and Ways to Achieve

Major Disciplines:Modern Physical Geography,Environmental Science,RS and GIS,Human Geography,etc.

Main Courses:GIS,Geomorphology,Geology,Introduction to Remote Sense,Economic Geography,Land Scapes and Land Scape Planning,Regional Analysis and Planning,etc.

Lab Experiments:Experiment of Analyzing and Evaluating of Resources and Environment,Remote Sense Applying Experiment,GIS Technique Experiment and Computer Simulation Experiment of City and Region Planning,etc.

Practical Work:Indoor and Outdoor Teaching Practice,Graduation Practice,Writing of Graduation Thesis,Ranging 27.5 Weeks in Total,etc.

Duration:four years.
