课题:Obeying the traffic rules

教材分析

单元的核心话题为obeying the traffic rules。通过学习要学生了解常见的交通标志,并且要让学生了解遵守交通法规的重要性。同时也进一步巩固所学的语法知识——比较级和最高级。

本课时,主要针对交通法规进行谈论。以观察图片、听力理解等训练方式和独立学习、合作交流、完成任务等形式完成目标语言的输入为主要学习任务,通过对于前置性作业的完成,培养学生自主学习的习惯,并且设置任务型综合性语言实践活动,让学生在交际活动中,学会如何正确地用英语表达自己的意见和建议,重在培养学生的习得语言运用能力、实践能力、合作能力及创新意识。

学生分析:学生已经学过比较级和最高级,大部分能利用比较级和最高级表达,并且已经掌握了表示交通法规的一些词语。根据以上对教材的分析,同时针对学生学习外语存在一定困难的实际情况,首先给学生创造外语语言氛围,创设一定的语言情景,这样可以激发学生学习兴趣,使学生在参与一系列活动中,掌握知识。

教学目标

1)学习有关比较级和最高级的用法,以及有关交通安全的句子。

教学思路

本单元主要的任务就是要让学生学会运用习得的语言知识学习相关的交通法规。学习并巩固本单元的知识点。在教学过程中,倡导自主、合作、探究的学习方式,激发兴趣,调动思维,培养创新能力。采用视听法、问答法和情景交际法。对教材的处理上,本着以“旧”代“新”、以“练”促“学”、以“熟”生“巧”的原则,通过听故事朗读、进行知识竞赛、对话,提高口语表达能力,且通过学习使同学们对交通法规有所了解,并意识到遵守交通法规的重要性。

教学手段

1.视听法。主要通过多媒体课件展示、图片展示、老师提问、学生回答等方式提供让学生看、听、说的练习机会。

2.答法和情景交际法。用多媒体展示各种图片,让学生利用这些图片进行交流,让学生在做中学,在实践中获得信息,习得英语。

Later,her father found an old basketball and cut it open.He put her in the open basketball.So she used two hands to walk.
