Education 0bjective:Public Administration is the science aimed to research the effective management pattern to resolve the government affairs or the social public affairs.This major of our university is aimed to cultivate the senior officials or experienced managers who are been provided with comprehensive major knowledge and perfected learning achievement.The graduate would be competent for the actual job of administration or research or consult in some public sector,such as government,university,public enterprise,etc.
Graduation Requirements
Students are required to accept systematic training of administrative management,to master knowledge of political science,management science,economics,sociology,jurisprudence,gambling and decision-making and other aspects,which leads to a higher evaluation,planning,and management ability.After graduation,they will be able to be engaged in policy research,promotion planning,human resource management,organizational communication,senior secretary,etc.
Graduates Should Acquire the Following Knowledge and Abilities
1.Master and skillfully use the basic principle of Marxism,materialistic dialectics,historical view and world view,to grasp the law of economic and social development,to understand the overall situation of economic and social development at home and abroad.
2.Students are supposed to have strong government public administration wisdom,grasp the general rules of administrative management,have an in timate knowledge of the policies of the Party and the nation and reform trends of the international community,understand the basic policy of administrative management in China and the actual situation of the Party and the government,and know the operation of government and functional characteristics of departments.
3.Students should have a wide range of knowledge,broaden their horizons,active thinking,and cultivate strong ability of innovation and entrepreneurship.
4.Students are supposed to have the ability to engage in an administrative work,including social investigation and measurement analysis,situation analysis and policy analysis,communication and coordination ability and language expression ability,information processing ability,to be proficiency in a foreign language,and to have strong listening,speaking,reading,writing ability.
5.Students should take an in-depth understanding of national conditions,social,people,set up the correct world outlook,outlook on life and the concept of occupation.Be healthy and have an all-round development of morality,intelligence,body,and beauty.
