十九、假冒伪劣词汇英汉对译
中央电视台在《质量万里行》节目中，对假冒伪劣产品和商品（counterfeit and shoddy products and goods）进行了大曝光，并呼吁全社会谨防假冒（Beware of imitations！）。“假冒”一词在英语中的表达方式多种多样，除上述counterfeit，hoddy和imitation外，还有下列一些常见的表达法。
1. artificial
指“假的”，含有“人造的或虚伪的”意思。例如：

17. falsetto

18. fiction
指“假定，拟定”，常用于法律方面。例如：
It is a legal fiction that a corporation is a person.
把团体法人当做一个人是一种法律上的假定。
19.hypothesis
指“（科学上的）假说，假设”。例如：

20.mask
指“假面具”。例如：

21. reproduction
尤指“艺术品的复制品”，但质量不如原本。例如：

That picture is a fine reproduction of the original.
