（四）WTO争端解决机制日益赢得尊重
自1995年1月1日WTO争端解决机制运作以来，在解决贸易争端方面发挥了很有实际的效用。迄今为止，还没有哪个成员方公然宣称不执行DSB通过的裁决报告。随着WTO争端解决机制在解决全球贸易纠纷过程中的不断完善，信誉的不断增强，越来越多的发展中国家会日益重视WTO争端解决机制，更多地利用WTO争端解决机制解决贸易争端，维护自身的正当权益。
但是，争端解决机制在运行过程中，也暴露出许多问题，有些是根本性的法律问题，如争端解决机制与国家主权的关系问题；有些是技术上的问题，如关于专家组程序和上诉机构的改革问题、如何增强WTO执行效果等问题。因此，WTO争端解决机制仍需不断完善，以适应经济全球化不断深入发展的需要。
