温州市现辖鹿城、龙湾、瓯海3区，瑞安、乐清2市（县级）和永嘉、洞头、平阳、苍南、文成、泰顺6县。全市陆域面积11784平方千米。海域面积约11000平方千米。其中市区面积1187平方千米。截至2010年11月1日，该市总人口为912.21万（按户籍），其中包括602.2万城镇居民，占66.02%；居住在乡村的为310.01万人，占33.98%。
Under the jurisdiction of Wenzhou，there are three districts (Lucheng，Longwan and Ouhai)，two cities (Rui’an and Yueqing)and six counties (Dongtou，Yongjia，pingyan，Cangnan，Wencheng and Taishun).The total square of the whole city is 11，784km2，among which，the water area is 11，000km2and the urban area is 1，187km2.Wenzhou has a total population of 7.558million.By Nov.11st，2010，the city had a total population of 9.1221million (according to the permanent residence registration)，including 6.022million urban residents (accounting for 66.02%)and 3.1001million rural residents (accounting for 33.98%).
