学名：Synthliboramphus antiquus
英名：Ancient Murrelet
形态：小型水鸟，体长21-27cm。整体呈黑白色，嘴短，呈圆锥形，白色。夏羽头无羽冠，背蓝灰，下体白色，喉黑，白色的眉纹呈散开形。冬羽眉纹及喉部的黑色消失。飞行时翼下白色，前后缘均色深，腋羽色暗。
虹膜褐色；嘴象牙白，嘴端深色；脚灰色。
分布：中国东部沿海部分地区有分布。在保护区属少见的夏候鸟。
习性：繁殖期筑巢于海岸、岛屿的岩石上，冬季栖息于开阔的海洋中。善潜水。主要以海洋无脊椎动物和小鱼为食。
