学名：Gallinago stenura
英名：Pintail Snipe
形态：小型涉禽，体长21-29cm。头顶中央冠纹和眉纹白色或棕白色。上体杂有红棕色、绒黑色和白色纵纹和斑纹，嘴基淡色，眉较暗色贯眼纹宽。下体污白色具黑色纵纹和横斑。外侧尾羽特别窄而硬挺，较中央尾羽明显为短，尾呈扇形。肩羽外侧与内侧羽缘几近等宽。
虹膜褐色；嘴褐色，嘴端深色；脚黄绿色。
分布：中国大部分地区有分布。在保护区属不常见的旅鸟。
习性：繁殖期栖息于森林、沼泽湿地，非繁殖期栖息于开阔的低山丘陵和平原地带。主要以昆虫、昆虫幼虫、甲壳类等小型无脊椎动物为食。

SD: Uncommon migrant.
HH: Breeds in forest bogs and tundras.Winters at open lowlands and plains.Feeds mainly on small invertebrates such as insects， larvae and crustaceans.
