Fret not thyself because of evil doers，

Neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity；

For they shall soon be cut down like the grass，

And wither as the green herb.

Trust in the Lord，and do good；

So shalt thou dwell in the land，and verily thou shalt be fed.

Delight thyself also in the Lord，

And he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.

Commit thy way unto the Lord；

Trust also in him，and he shall bring it to pass.

And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light，

And thy judgment as the noonday.

Rest in the Lord，and wait patiently for him.

Fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way，

Because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.

Cease from anger，and forsake wrath:

Fret not thyself in any wise to do evil，

For evil doers shall be cut off:

But those that wait upon the Lord，they shall inherit the earth.

For yet a little while，and the wicked shall not be；

Yea，thou shalt diligently consider his place，and it shall not be.

But the meek shall inherit the earth，

And shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.

A little that a righteous man hath

Is better than the riches of many wicked；

For the arms of the wicked shall be broken，

But the Lord upholdeth the righteous.

The Lord knoweth the days of the upright，

And their inheritance shall be forever；

They shall not be ashamed in the evil time，

And in the days of famine they shall be satisfied.

But the wicked shall perish，

And the enemies of the Lord shall be as the fat of lambs；

They shall consume；into smoke shall they consume away.

The wicked borroweth，and payeth not again；

But the righteous sheweth mercy and giveth.

For such as be blessed of him shall inherit the earth.

The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord，

And he delighteth in his way；

Though he fall，he shall not be utterly cast down；

For the Lord upholdeth him with his hand.

I have been young，and now am old，

Yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken，

Nor his seed begging bread.

He is ever merciful，and lendeth，

And his seed is blessed.

Depart from evil，and do good，

And dwell for evermore；

For the Lord loveth judgment，

And forsaketh not his saints；

They are preserved forever:

But the seed of the wicked shall be cut off.

The righteous shall inherit the land，

And dwell therein forever.

The mouth of the righteous speaketh wisdom，

And his tongue talketh of judgment；

The law of his God is in his heart；

None of his steps shall slide.

The wicked watcheth the righteous，

And seeketh to slay him.

The Lord will not leave him in his hand，

Nor condemn him when he is judged.

Wait on the Lord，and keep his way，

And he shall exalt thee to inherit the land；

When the wicked are cut off，thou shalt see it.

I have seen the wicked in great power，

And spreading himself like a green bay tree；

Yet he passed away，and，lo，he was not；

Yea，I sought him，but he could not be found.

译文　TRANSLATION

不要因作恶者而心怀不平，

不要对行不义者心生嫉妒。

因为他们如草很快被翦刈，

又如青菜很快将要萎落。

信靠耶和华而行善，

居于大地，你必得丰足；

以耶和华为愉悦，

他将赐你心之所愿。

将你的事交托耶和华，

信靠他，他必成全；

他将使你的正义如光辉耀。

使你的公平如正午骄阳。

你当在耶和华那里休憩，

耐心等候他；

不要因显达者或恶谋成就者

而心怀不平。

你当止住怒气、弃置愤懑，

不要为不平而作恶；

因作恶者必遭剪除。

唯有服侍耶和华者得承此土。

稍待片时，作恶者将归为无有，

你纵细察他的所在，所在亦归无有；

唯有谦卑者得承此土，

并以丰盛的平安为乐

义人所得虽少，

强过许多恶人的财富；

因为恶人的臂膀必被折断，

耶和华只扶助义人。

耶和华知道正人的年寿，

他们的财富将永存；

他们在邪恶的时代不蒙羞，

在饥馑的日子必得饱足。

但恶人将灭亡，

耶和华的敌人像羔羊的脂油；

他们将消亡，消亡如烟。

恶人借货而不偿还，

正人却悲悯而且乐施；

唯有蒙耶和华赐福者

才得承受此土。

善人的脚步由耶和华确定，

耶和华以他的道路为乐；

他纵跌倒，也不会被完全抛弃，

因耶和华将用手扶持他。

我曾年轻，现在老去，

但却从未见善人被弃；

亦未见他的后裔乞讨，

他总是悲悯、施予，

而他的后裔将蒙福。

你当离恶行善，

自会永远安居；

因耶和华爱公平，

自不弃他的圣民。

他们永蒙佑护，

而恶人的后裔必遭剪除；

义人必承此土，

且永居其上。

义人之口讲说智慧，

义人之舌谈论公平；

神的律法在他心底，

他的脚步永不蹉跌。

恶人窥伺义人，

试图谋害他；

耶和华必不会任他

沦入恶人之手，

在审判时必不定他的罪。

服侍耶和华，

遵循他的道途；

他必让你得承此土。

恶人被剪除之日，你必亲见。

我曾见恶人掌权，

有如绿树葳蕤；

但他已失势，归于乌有。

我也曾把他找寻，却遍寻不着。
