学名：Phalacrocorax capillatus
英名：Japanese Cormorant
形态：大型水鸟，体长80-84cm。繁殖期成鸟头及颈绿色，具金属光泽，头侧具稀疏的白色丝状羽，脸部白色块斑较大，腿也具白色块斑。冬季黑褐色，颏及喉白色。嘴基裸露皮肤黄色。
虹膜蓝色；嘴角褐色，下嘴基部黄色；脚灰黑色。
分布：中国东部海域。在保护区属较常见的旅鸟和夏候鸟。蛇岛海域有少量繁殖。
习性：常栖息于岛屿及附近海面，喜在岛屿的悬崖峭壁上繁殖。主要以鱼类为食。
