第二节　摩擦辅音/θ//ð/

一　发音秘诀

/θ//ð/是一对清浊辅音，为舌尖齿背摩擦音。发音时，舌尖略向前伸出，位于上下齿之间，轻触上齿下边缘，气流通过舌尖和上齿之间的细小缝隙，发生摩擦成音。/θ/是清辅音，声带不振动，送气强。/ð/是浊辅音，声带振动，送气弱。如：third/θзːd/，nothing/'nʌθɪŋ/，wealth/welθ/，this/ðɪs/，there/ðeə/，weather/weðə/等。

注意要点：（1）由于汉语里没有与这两个音相似的音，所以很多英语学习者发不好这两个音，常用/s/代替/θ/，用/z/代替/ð/。如：将thank/θæŋk/读成/sæŋk/，thing/θɪŋ/读成sing/sɪŋ/，其实要发准/θ/和/ð/音并不难，关键是养成俗称“咬舌头”的发音习惯。（2）发/θ/和/ð/音时要注意不要将舌端堵塞它和上齿间的缝隙，以致气流被堵塞而不能发生摩擦；另一方面也不要只是将舌端轻轻接触上齿而不发生摩擦。（3）/θ/和/ð/是难以辨别的一对清浊辅音，具有相同的发音部位和方法。/θ/是清辅音，发音时声带不振动，在词首和词末时摩擦较大；/ð/是浊辅音，发音时声带振动，在词末摩擦较小。
