【Abstract】The authors give a summary to the study of sino-foreign archival undertaking in China from 1996 to 2006 from the following 3 aspects:the study of archival undertaking basic theory，the study of history of Chinese archival undertaking，foreign archival work and the comparative study of sino-foreign archival undertaking.
