【摘要】:本节课是口语课,中心话题是“健康饮食”。现代人由于生活、工作和其他方面的压力以及不均衡的饮食习惯导致疾病不断。一方面是为了吸引学生的注意力,让学生对本课充满兴趣,以最佳的状态进入学习,另一方面是为上课的主题作铺垫。2.通过幻灯片食物的呈现和对学生饮食的问卷调查,让学生更好地了解食物的分类以及自己是否是一个健康饮食者,从而对自己的饮食进行改善,以便有更充沛的精力投入学习。

一、教材分析

本节课是口语课,中心话题是“健康饮食”。现代人由于生活、工作和其他方面的压力以及不均衡的饮食习惯导致疾病不断。本节课从个人的饮食健康展开话题。从“打电话预约医生——就健康问题咨询医生——找健康餐馆吃饭(包括设计宣传餐馆和就餐两个内容)”展开口语教学。

本节课以学生谈论对食物的喜好以及一份问卷调查“Are you a healthy eater?”导入,让学生复习并运用已知的知识展开课堂活动,使他们学会针对现实中遇到的实际问题发表自己的看法,并能运用学过的与饮食相关的谚语。

在课堂上渗透德育教育,课后作业是为辛勤工作的父母设计健康菜谱,并在周末为父母做一顿饭。

二、教学目标

1.Enable the students to make dialogues with their partners according to the given expressions.

2.Enable the students to master all the useful expressions.

3.Enable the students to take the healthy problems seriously.

三、教学重难点

Dialogues about consulting the doctors,advertising the healthy restaurant and having a meal in a restaurant.

四、教学过程

Step I Lead-in

Play the video and get the students to enjoy“Health song”.

T:(After that)Do you like this song?What's the song talking about?

Ss:Health and sports.

T:Yeah!We should do sports to keep fit.Besides sports,We should have a healthy diet to keep fit.And then what's healthy eating?

Ss:Healthy eating means a balanced diet containing energygiving food,body-building food and protective food.

T:Now I'll show you some foods,and tell me what kind of food they belong to?

(让学生边看图边回答,最后将结果进行归纳并呈现于幻灯片上)

Energy-giving food:rice,noodle,cake and hamburgers;

Body-building food:egg,fish,mutton and milk;

Protective food:Cumbers,potatoes,pea and fruits.

T:And would you like to tell me what's your favorite of these foods?

Sl:I love eating meat,sugar and bread.I have been used to eating sweets or bread while watching TV.

T:So what will happen to you if you go on like this?

S1:I'm getting fatter and fatter.

T:Would you mind me asking you a question?Do you often get tired while you are at school?

S2:Very often.

T:Do you think you should get more energy?

S2:Yes.

T:Now do you think we should eat each kind of food?

Ss:Yes.

T:I think you should balance your diets.We need every kind of food to give us energy,fiber,protein and minerals so as to grow healthily.Every day everybody has to eat,so do you want to know whether your diet is healthy or not?Now let's do a survey whether you are a healthy eater.

【设计意图】

1.通过健康歌导入。一方面是为了吸引学生的注意力,让学生对本课充满兴趣,以最佳的状态进入学习,另一方面是为上课的主题作铺垫。

2.通过幻灯片食物的呈现和对学生饮食的问卷调查,让学生更好地了解食物的分类以及自己是否是一个健康饮食者,从而对自己的饮食进行改善,以便有更充沛的精力投入学习。

T:If we don't have healthy diets,what health problems may we have?

Ss:Too thin./Too fat./Feel tired…

Task 2:Making aphone call and consulting a doctor.

T:Now suppose you are suffering from one of the diseases,what should you do?

Ss:I'll consult the doctors./I'll go to see a doctor.

T:Yeah!But as we know the doctors are always busy,especially in the western countries,so it's very imporant for you to make an appointment with the doctor.Now suppose I'm a patient making a telephone call,who would like to be a volunteer?

Clerk:Good morning!This is Doctor Li's Office.What can I do for you?

Miss Xie:Yes,this is Miss Xie.I'd like to make an appointment to see the doctor.I wonder if I could come to doctor Li this afternoon?

Clerk:Just a moment,please.Let me have a check…Sorry,but I have to say he is not free this afternoon.Can you come here tomorrow at 10a.m.?

Miss Xie:That's fine.Thank you,I'll come then.Bye—bye.

Clerk:Bye—bye.

T:Now you're in the hospital mad meet the doctor you have made an appointment.I'd like you to make dialogues with your partners consulting the doctor about your diseases.

(2minutes later,ask several pairs to act out the dialogues.)

【设计意图】

这个环节有两个对话:一是学生和老师的对话,目的是培养学生参与课堂的自信心和学生的应变能力;二是学生间的对话,利用所提供的交际用语,培养学生间的合作精神。对话结束后所提的问题是为了锻炼学生的听力以及培养他们的倾听能力。

Task3 &Task 4:Advertising your healthy restaurant and having agood meal in a restaurant.

T:From the conversations we know that the doctors suggest the patients should have healthy and balanced diets.But for many reasons,people often eat outside,so it's very important for them to choose a healthy restaurant.

Ss:Yes.

T:Suppose you want to open a healthy restaurant for these people.Now I'd like you to work in a group of 6students.Discuss how to design your restaurant and provide the best local dishes and a balanced,healthy food to attract your customers.I'll give you 5minutes,after you finish the design,to read out and stick them on the wall.

T:Who would like to share your work and tell us why your restaurant will attract the customers?

Could you tell me whose restaurant is the best?

Ss:…

T:Congratulations to them!Since most of us think their restaurant is the best.Now let's go to taste their food,OK?

Ss:OK!

T:Now please make dialogues with your group about having a meal in the restaurant using the useful expressions on the screen.

T:You've done an excellent job,but which group do you think makes the best dialogue?

Ss:...

1.Choose the best design.

2.Get the students to make dialogues.

3.Ask several groups to act out the dialogues.

4.Choose the best group that has outstanding performance.

【设计意图】

这个环节是本节课的一个高点。医生对健康的建议都是从饮食入手,但是现代人由于各方面的原因经常在外就餐。任务设计的目的是让学生从商家的角度分析,结合本地小吃来设计健康餐馆。这个环节是分组进行的,所有的学生都有机会参与,培养了学生的创新能力、合作能力,学生间互相帮助的精神也得到培养。作品的展示能让学生体验到参与课堂活动所带来的成功和喜悦。

StepⅢSummary

T:Thank you for your excellent performance.From what we have learnt,we know healthy diets are very important for us,especially for your body building.Now Miss Xie will give you some advice towards healthy diets.

1.Take time to chew your food.

2.Avoid stress while eating.

3.Balance your food choice.

4.Eat early,eat often.

T:We have also learnt some proverbs about health,would you please share them?

S1:An apple a day keeps the doctor away.

S2:First wealth is health.

S3:We are what we eat.

教师对本节课进行总结的同时让学生说说平时所学到的关于健康、饮食方面的谚语,可以利用新的任务来复习旧的知识。
