Pragmatism means being earnest and down-to-earth,being scientific and rational and seeking the truth.In the traditional culture of our country,Wang Fu put forward“excellent people will not appear better than they are,while prestigious people devote themselves to pragmatism”.Wang Chong,a philosopher in the Han Dynasty,taught that we should“seek the truth and criticize falsehood”,which as well as embodied the spirit of pragmatism.As a traditional virtue,pragmatism still plays an importantrole in our contemporary society.
