温州市是中国最大的制笔产地。温州市制笔行业协会的会员企业有151家，他们主要分布在龙湾区的蒲州。产品主要分为三个类别：彩色笔、自动笔、圆珠笔等100多个品种。在2000年，各种各样的笔的总产出有70亿件，约总值为13.4亿元，占了全国的1/3。出口产量达6.32亿元。71个商标已经通过国家商检局的批准注册，部分企业获得欧盟CE和美国ASFM-D4236确认证书。
Wenzhou is the biggest production base of pens in China.Wenzhou pen Industrial Association has 151member enterprises，which are mainly grouped in puzhou Town of Longwan District.The products are three categories of coloured pencil，propelling pencil and ball-point pen available in over 100varieties.In 2000the output of various pens was 7billion pieces with the value of 1.34billion yuan，about one third of the country’s total，and the export delivery value of 632million yuan.71trademarks have been approved for registration by the State Trademark Bureau and part of enterprises awarded the European CE and the American ASFM-D4236confirmation certificates for the qualification to get into the European and American markets.
