黄桂柿子饼是西安特有的风味点心，又称火晶柿子饼。采用临潼特产火晶柿子为原料，并配以面粉、桂花酱、玫瑰、桃仁、白糖等制成饼状。黄桂柿子饼两面金黄，色彩绚丽，形圆绵软，桂香扑鼻。市内街头巷尾，随处可见。
关于黄桂柿子饼，民间流传着李闯王的一段轶闻。相传1644年，李自成在西安称王，即将带大军攻打北京。当时正值灾荒之年，临潼百姓就用当地特产的火晶柿子拌面粉烙成柿面饼，让士兵们在路上食用。由于这种饼抗饥耐饿，义军官兵食后，个个精神饱满，没有多长时间就攻下了北京城。从此，临潼人民每年秋季都要制作柿子饼，用来纪念李自成。后来经过西安厨师们不断的改进，发展成为现代的黄桂柿子饼。
黄桂柿子饼的制作方法是先将柿子剥皮去蒂，与面粉调成稠糊状，揉成软面团；将馅与面粉揉搓，用软面团包馅料，呈圆形，放入油铁锅内烙烤，变黄后压扁成圆形，最后再用菜油烙烤，颜色变黄后即可食用。
西安饭庄制作的黄桂柿子饼已被列为“中华名小吃”，现已开发出方便旅游者携带的品种。大家也可以带点回去赠送亲朋好友。

The Huanggui Persimmon Pancake is a specialty in Xi'an.It is also called the Huojing Persimmon Pancake.It is made from the Lintong Huojing Per simmon，wheat flour，osmanthus sauce，rose pet als，walnut meat and sugar.The cake looks golden on both sides.It is soft and round in shape and sweet and fragrant like the osmanthus flower.It is easy to get it along the street.
Among the local people there is a story about the pancakes.In 1644，Li Zicheng，apeasant rebel leader in the Ming Dynasty，occupied Xi'an and proclaimed himself king.When Li's army was setting off to attack Beijing，the capital city，the local people could provide them nothing but some pancakes due to a great famine that year.The pancakes were made of persimmons mixed with wheat flour，so they were fairly hungry－resistant.Every soldier felt energetic after eating them.As a result，Beijing was soon occupied.The local people in Lintong have made pancakes to commemorate Li Zicheng ever since.Years of making pancakes have improved the cooking method we use today.
The method of making the pancake is to relieve the base of the persimmon first and to mix it with the flour to make a soft dough.Then you can torment the flour and filling，wrapping the filling in the soft dough in a round shape.Take it into the oil irony pot，and press it after it turns yellow.Finally bake the pancake with the vegetable oil，and wait it turn yellow.

A Business Trip
我的一个同事去印度出差。他抵达德里机场后，就搭出租车到宾馆。好客的印度主人在宾馆迎接他。出租车司机索要相当于8美元的费用。我朋友觉得似乎是合理价格，就把钱给了他。
但印度主人一把抓过钞票，对出租司机大骂不止，骂他是一文不值的寄生虫，并说他企图宰国外来客，真是丢尽了他们国家的面子。他把钱钞的半数扔给司机，告诉他永远别再回来。
出租司机一踩油门跑掉了。主人把剩下的钱还给我的同事，问他旅途如何。“很好，”这位商人回答道，“在你把出租车赶跑之前还一切顺利，我的行李还在车厢里。”
